HOPE stands for Helping Others’ Positive Efforts, a name that captures the true spirit of this program.
Located in mid-town Tulsa, HOPE provides a comfortable, home-style setting for a community-based residential treatment program carefully designed to help adolescents with IQs between 45-75 who struggle with emotional, behavioral or mental health problems.
The residential treatment facility features 12 beds, a day room, a garden room, a kitchen, a classroom with a computer lab, counseling rooms, a large yard and a pool.
Residents learn safety skills and how to live cooperatively with their families and community. They obtain independent living skills, establish daily living patterns and identify possible vocations and placements after discharge.
