There is no charge for mental health assessments.
Shadow Mountain Behavioral Health System has a 24-hour, seven-day a week crisis intervention, mental health assessment, referral and admission service. We do accept walk-ins; however, we encourage calling for appointments because that enables us to start gathering information in order to make the most of our assessment time together.
Do We Provide Telemedicine Assessment? Yes.
If you would need to drive a long distance for an assessment, which commonly happens due to our specialty services, please tell us. We work with many telemedicine sites around the state.
The Assessment Center staff, comprised of therapists and psychiatric nurses, provides confidential mental health assessments and consultation for psychiatric, behavioral, emotional and chemical dependency problems.
The Assessment Center will also help families determine the financial resources available for health care costs, including insurance coverage and state aid. Contact the Assessment Center to set up an assessment by calling 800-821-6993 or 918-492-8200.
