We are dedicated to the well-being and safety of all our patients. All levels of care, including acute, residential, crisis stabilization, and therapeutic foster care, have a designated patient advocate.
Patient advocates respond to concerns by researching them and advocating on behalf of the child. They are impartial and independent and report directly to the program administrator.
Patients, visitors, guardians and even staff may file grievances on behalf of clients using the grievance program. Grievances may be filed in grievance boxes located on each unit or by contacting the grievance coordinator by telephone. Simply call (800) 821-6993 and ask to speak to the patient advocate.
The patient advocate will respond to you within seven working days. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may file an appeal.
Shadow Mountain patient advocates also are liaisons to the Oklahoma Department of Human Services’ Office of Client Advocacy.
