Intensive Therapeutic Services (ITS)
Shadow Mountain offers a 72-hour crisis stabilization mental health treatment program for children and adolescents ages under the custody of the Department of Human Services (DHS). Each patient receives individual, group and, if applicable, family therapies. In addition, patients receive rehabilitative services and client advocacy provided by Behavioral Health Rehab Specialists.
Children/youth referred to the crisis stabilization program must be in a mental health crisis. We accept admissions from across the state. All children/youth referred to the program must be in temporary or permanent custody of the State of Oklahoma.
Intensive Therapeutic Service (ITS) is located at Shadow Mountain Hospital and Assessment Center in its own newly renovated space. When a child is at ITS, he or she has not been admitted to the hospital.
