Shadow Mountain offers dual diagnosis treatment in an outpatient setting for individuals requiring more than one hour of therapy per week to maximize recovery. The purpose of the Dual Diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Program is to provide integrated treatment for chemical dependency and mental illnesses, including depression, anxiety, trauma and others. Shadow Mountain Behavioral Health System uses the 12-Step guidelines and traditions as part of the chemical dependency program. The goal is to introduce these concepts and guide you to utilizing a sponsor to maintain recovery. This is a 12-Step program, but your therapist might use literature from SMART Recovery, Celebrate Recovery and several others.
Individualized treatment is developed by the multidisciplinary treatment team based on patient needs and involves support people as appropriate and approved by the patient. We focus on the whole person and encourage support from family and other resources to help improve wellness.
Our program meets three hours per day, three days per week. Please contact us at 918-492-8200 for more information.
